Alexia wurde Ende Februar 2025 bei eisiger Kälte in der Nähe unseres Tierheims ausgesetzt. Zum Glück wurden wachsame Menschen auf sie aufmerksam und baten uns um Hilfe. So zog sie bei uns in die Island of Hope ein – und hat seither alle Herzen im Sturm erobert.

Diese umwerfende junge Dame ist ein wahrer Sonnenschein: lebensfroh, aufgeweckt und überaus menschenbezogen. Sobald man an ihrem Gehege vorbeigeht, springt sie freudestrahlend auf und bittet um Aufmerksamkeit und Zuwendung.

Im Umgang ist sie manchmal noch etwas stürmisch – was vermutlich sowohl an ihrer jugendlichen Energie als auch an der Unterforderung im Tierheimalltag liegt. Sie freut sich einfach riesig über jede Minute Aufmerksamkeit.

Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sie sich bei uns verspielt und sozial, sodass wir sie uns gut als Zweithund vorstellen können, was aber kein Muss ist. Aufgrund ihrer stürmischen Art sollten Kinder im Haushalt bereits standfest und mindestens 12 Jahre alt sein, bzw. sollte sich ansonsten darauf eingestellt werden, dass Alexia noch etwas ungestüm sein kann.

Wir wünschen uns für Alexia Menschen, die Freude an einem aktiven Hund haben, ihr sowohl körperliche als auch geistige Auslastung bieten und ihr gleichzeitig helfen, zur Ruhe zu kommen und Alltagsstrukturen zu erlernen. Sie bringt eine große Portion Lernfreude mit, braucht aber natürlich noch Erziehung und Orientierung.

Alexia ist verschmust, freundlich und offen – wir glauben, dass sie sich auch in einer lebendigeren Umgebung gut einleben kann, wenn man ihr Schritt für Schritt die Welt zeigt. Wer ihr ein Zuhause schenkt, bekommt eine liebevolle und fröhliche Begleiterin mit großem Herzen.

Alexia was abandoned near our shelter in the freezing cold at the end of February 2025. Fortunately, attentive people noticed her and asked us for help. So she moved in with us at the Island of Hope - and has since won everyone's hearts by storm.

This stunning young lady is a real ray of sunshine: cheerful, bright and extremely people-oriented. As soon as you walk past her enclosure, she jumps up beaming with joy and begs for attention and affection.

She is sometimes still a little impetuous when being handled - which is probably due to both her youthful energy and the fact that she is underchallenged in everyday life at the shelter. She simply delights every minute of attention.

She is playful and social with other dogs, so we can well imagine her as a second dog, but this is not a must. Due to her impetuous nature, children in the household should already be stable and at least 12 years old, otherwise you should be prepared for the fact that Alexia can still be a little boisterous.

We would like Alexia to live with people who enjoy having an active dog, who can give her both physical and mental exercise and at the same time help her to calm down and learn the structures of everyday life. She is eager to learn, but of course still needs training and guidance.

Alexia is cuddly, friendly and open - we believe that she will settle well in a more lively environment if she is shown the world step by step. Whoever gives her a home will get a loving and cheerful companion with a big heart.
