Iubi ist ein bezaubernder Rottweiler und wir wurden gebeten bei der Vermittlung zu helfen, ein tierlieber Deutscher der hier in Rumänien lebt hat ihn vorübergehend bei sich aufgenommen.

Hier die Geschichte von „Iubi“, für den wir ein Zuhause suchen:

Wir wurden von einem Hotel in den Bergen gerufen, sie sagten das dort seit 4 Tage ein Rottweiler ist der blind ist und von den Straßenhunden permanent attackiert und gebissen wird. Daraufhin haben wir ihn zu uns geholt. Allerdings denke ich nicht, dass er komplett blind ist, wenn er z.B. auf eine Wand zuläuft stoppt er wenige cm vorher.

Es ist ein Rottweiler, männlich. Der Tierarzt schätzt ihn auf ca. 3-5 Jahre.

Er ist sehr lieb, bellt überhaupt nicht und ist sehr verschmust. Er hat keine Probleme mit unseren Hunden und auch wenn Menschen zu Besuch bei uns kommen ist er sehr freundlich.

Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass er Stubenrein ist und sogar relativ gut an der Leine läuft. Auch im Auto verhält er sich vorbildlich und macht überhaupt keine Probleme. Wie gesagt, ein super liebes Tier. Derjenige der ihn nimmt wird einen sehr unproblematischen Hund haben. Er orientiert sich sehr daran, was die Menschen machen. Vermutlich, weil er fast blind ist. Aber nicht falsch verstehen, er kommt sehr gut klar.

Unser Tierarzt vermutet das die Blindheit „Katarakt“ ist. Sie kann es aber nicht mit 100% Sicherheit sagen da sie die Geräte um dies zu testen nicht hat.

Für Leute die einen Hund suchen um das Haus zu bewachen ist dies nicht der richtige Hund. Wenn du einen Hund suchst um mit ihm auf der Couch zu sitzen und Fernsehen zu schauen, dann ist dies der perfekte Hund.

Auf Wunsch kann ich ihn noch kastrieren. Ich würde mich auch um alle erforderlichen Impfungen kümmern und die Papiere machen das er über die Grenze kommt. Auch um den Transport nach Deutschland würde ich mich kümmern. Alle Kosten würde ich übernehmen. Wichtig ist mir nur, dass er in ein schönes Zuhause kommt und ein schönes Leben hat.

Ich selbst habe schon 3 Straßenhunde bei mir aufgenommen und kann leider nicht ohne Limit Tiere bei mir aufnehmen. Also, wer jemand kennt für den Iubi passen sollte, bitte bei mir melden.

Update:

Iubi wurde mittlerweile kastriert und dabei auch gleich noch mal durchgecheckt, hierbei wurde festgestellt dass er seit Geburt verengte Tränenkanäle hat und dies eventuell durch eine Operation behoben werden könnte, leider aber nicht hier in Rumänien. Er benötigt eine beidseitige Tränenkanalstenose ("Bilaterale Tränen-Mukonasal-Kanal-Stenose"), die Kosten dafür würden sogar von der jetzigen Pflegestelle getragen werden. Aber dafür braucht er einen guten Platz und liebe Menschen, die das mit ihm angehen möchten.

Er ist so ein lieber Kerl, alleine die Fahrt zur Klinik dauerte eineinhalb Stunden, dann noch all die Untersuchungen, er hat alles über sich ergehen lassen, kein Murren, er blieb lieb und freundlich, hat nur immer wieder seinen Menschen gesucht.

Iubi is an adorable Rottweiler and we were asked to help with his adoption, an animal loving German who lives here in Romania has taken him in temporarily.

Here is the story of "Iubi" for whom we are looking for a home:

We were called by a hotel in the mountains, they said that there is a Rottweiler for 4 days who is blind and is permanently attacked and bitten by the street dogs. Thereupon we got him to us. However, I do not think that he is completely blind, for example, if he runs towards a wall, he stops a few centimeters before.

It is a Rottweiler, male. The vet estimates him to be about 3-5 years old.

He is very sweet, does not bark at all and is very cuddly. He has no problems with our dogs and even when people come to visit us he is very friendly.

A big plus is that he is house trained and even walks relatively well on a leash. Also in the car he behaves exemplary and makes no problems at all. As I said, a super sweet animal. The one who takes him will have a very unproblematic dog. He is very oriented to what people are doing. Probably because he is almost blind. But do not misunderstand, he gets along very well.

Our vet suspects that the blindness is "cataract". She can't say with 100% certainty because she doesn't have the equipment to test for it.

For people looking for a dog to guard the house this is not the dog for them. If you are looking for a dog to sit on the couch and watch TV with, then this is the perfect dog.

I can still neuter him if requested. I would also take care of all the necessary vaccinations and make the papers that he can travel. I would also take care of the transport. I would take over all costs. It is only important to me that he comes to a nice home and has a nice life.

I myself have already taken 3 street dogs and unfortunately I can not take animals without limit with me. So, who knows someone for whom Iubi should fit, please contact me.

Update:

Iubi has been neutered in the meantime and had a check-up. It was found out that he has narrowed tear ducts since birth and that this could possibly be repaired by an operation, but unfortunately not here in Romania. He needs a bilateral tear duct stenosis ("Bilateral Tear-Muconasal Canal Stenosis"), the costs for this would even be covered by the current foster home. But for this he needs a good place and loving people who want to tackle this with him.

He is such a sweet guy, just the trip to the clinic took an hour and a half, then all the exams, he let everything go over him, no grumbling, he remained sweet and friendly, just kept looking for his human.
